Where are they now? Foundation Degree in Creating Performance.
John finished his GCSEs at Broadgreen High School and was considering doing a mechanics course but decided that he wanted to do Performing Arts instead. He enrolled at Hugh Baird College in 2010 and achieved distinctions on both the Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Performing Arts before progressing to the Foundation Degree in Creating Performance.
“I chose to do this course at Hugh Baird University Centre because I felt that it would provide me with the skills to succeed. It also provides a much tougher first year than most other universities. My ambition is to become a professional stage actor and who knows where that will lead. I would also like to focus more on scriptwriting and possibly produce a number of plays.”
“My advice to anyone thinking of studying for a degree at Hugh Baird University Centre is to be prepared to get your head down as there really is a lot of work attached to the course but also have fun.”
