Hugh Baird College

Keeping you safe

Rachael Hennigan, Principal of Hugh Baird College, talks about what we’ve put in place to ensure our College is as safe as possible for you.

Face Coverings

We do recognise that as more people attend the College we need further measures in place to help support social distancing. In light of this, and in order to further reduce the risk of infection, you are asked to wear a face mask in all communal areas in College (eg; Learning Resource Centres, Receptions, corridors and on staircases). In classrooms, workshops and other teaching spaces, you will be expected to comply with the social distancing measures which are in place, and so you will not need to wear a mask in these areas.

Social Distancing Measures

Below you can watch videos that show you the social distancing and safety measures we have in place around our campuses.

Safety Notices

You will find safety notices and posters placed around the campus to remind you of the safety measures in place and what you are expected to do. You’ll find these in your classroom/workshop, on doors and corridors.
